Leagues

How do I create a league?

When you first sign in, you can create a new league and invite friends using a share link or invite code.

How do I join a league?

Tap the invite link sent by a league admin, or enter the invite code manually from the join screen.

Can I be in multiple leagues?

Yes! You can create or join multiple leagues. Switch between them from the Settings tab.

Picks

When do I need to make my picks?

Picks lock before the first puck drop of each week. You’ll see a countdown timer showing how much time you have left.

Can I change my picks after submitting?

Yes, you can edit your picks any time before they lock. Once locked, they’re final.

What if I forget to make picks?

If you don’t submit picks before the lock time, you’ll score zero points for that week. Set a reminder!

What are the pick categories?

Playmaker — Pick the player with the most assists. #1 = 3 pts, #2 = 2 pts, #3 = 1 pt.
Hammer — Pick the player with the most hits. #1 = 3 pts, #2 = 2 pts, #3 = 1 pt.
Shield — Pick the player with the most blocked shots. #1 = 3 pts, #2 = 2 pts, #3 = 1 pt.

Account

Fourth Liners uses Sign in with Apple — just tap the button and you’re in. No passwords needed.

How do I change my display name or avatar?

Go to Settings and tap your profile at the top to edit your display name or choose a new avatar photo.

Troubleshooting

The app isn’t loading my league data

Check your internet connection and try again. If the problem persists, try signing out and back in.

Fourth Liners is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

Information We Collect

Account Data

When you sign in, we store:

Your email address (for authentication)
Your display name (chosen by you)
Your avatar image (if you upload one)

This data is stored securely on our servers (hosted by Supabase) and is used solely to operate the app.

League Data

Your picks, scores, and league membership are stored on our servers so they can be shared with other members of your league. This is essential for the app to function.

Local Data

App preferences are stored locally on your device.

Analytics Data

We use Mixpanel to collect app usage data. This helps us understand which features are used and how to improve the app. Analytics data includes:

Feature usage events (e.g. creating a league, joining a league)
App name and version

Analytics data is associated with your account ID so we can understand usage patterns, but it does not include:

Your name, email address, or avatar
Your picks, scores, or league data
Any content you create in the app

Third-Party Services

Supabase

We use Supabase for authentication, data storage, and real-time sync. Supabase’s infrastructure is hosted on AWS. See Supabase’s Privacy Policy for details.

Mixpanel (Analytics)

We use Mixpanel to collect feature usage data as described above. No personal information (name, email, or app content) is shared with Mixpanel.

We do not:

Sell your data
Share personal data with third parties (beyond what’s needed to operate the service)
Display advertising

We do share feature usage data with Mixpanel for the sole purpose of improving the app. This data tracks which features are used, not what you do within them.

Your league data (picks, scores, display name) is visible to other members of your league. This is a core feature of the app.

Your Rights

You can:

Update your display name and avatar at any time
Request deletion of your account by contacting us
Your data will be removed when your account is deleted

Fourth Liners is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

Game results or scores will be accurate
The app will be available without interruption
Data will not be lost

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fourth Liners and its developers shall not be liable for any damages arising from use of the app.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
