The Service
Heard is a place-based, anonymous exchange of honesty. It allows users to leave and receive text entries anchored to physical locations.
Content Guidelines
When contributing an entry, you agree not to include:
- Identifying information about yourself or others
- Requests for contact or personal connections
- Physical descriptions of people
- Explicit sexual content
- Hate speech
- Threats or harassment
- Links, images, or attachments
Entries that violate these guidelines may be blocked or removed. Repeat violations may result in a permanent ban.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer or modify the app
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to access systems or data you’re not authorized to access
- Circumvent content moderation or daily contribution limits
- Spoof your location or presence
Anonymity
Heard is designed for anonymous use. You should not attempt to identify other users or share identifying information in your entries.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Heard is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:
- The app will be available without interruption
- Entries will be preserved indefinitely
- Data will not be lost
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Heard and its developers shall not be liable for any damages arising from use of the app.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for users who violate these terms or the content guidelines.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
