Open Wheelers is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.
Information We Collect
Account Data
When you sign in, we store:
- Your email address (for authentication)
- Your display name (chosen by you)
- Your avatar image (if you upload one)
This data is stored securely on our servers (hosted by Supabase) and is used solely to operate the app.
League Data
Your picks, scores, and league membership are stored on our servers so they can be shared with other members of your league. This is essential for the app to function.
Phone Numbers
You can add a phone number to your league profile, and a league admin can add one for a member (for example, to text them a link for making picks without the app). The number is stored with your league membership, and other members of that league can use it when they start a group text about the league. We don’t use it for anything else, and it’s never used for marketing. You can change or remove it any time in Edit Profile, or ask your league admin to.
Local Data
App preferences are stored locally on your device.
Analytics Data
We use Mixpanel to collect anonymous app usage data. This helps us understand which features are used and how to improve the app. Analytics data includes:
- Sign-in and account events (sign-in completion, sign-out, account deletion)
- App lifecycle (app open, app background)
- League events (league created, league joined) — metadata only; no picks, scores, or member content is included
Analytics data is associated with an anonymous identifier and the following non-identifying user attributes: app name, app version, family (Open Wheelers’s product family), platform (iOS), and whether you have an active subscription.
Analytics data does not include:
- Your name, email address, or any other personally identifying information
- Content you create in the app (picks, scores, league names, member messages)
- Your physical location
We do not use advertising identifiers (IDFA) or track you across apps. Analytics data is retained for 12 months.

Third-Party Services
Supabase
We use Supabase for authentication, data storage, and real-time sync. Supabase’s infrastructure is hosted on AWS. See Supabase’s Privacy Policy for details.
Mixpanel (Analytics)
We use Mixpanel to collect feature usage data as described above. No personal information (name, email, or app content) is shared with Mixpanel.
RevenueCat (Subscriptions)
We use RevenueCat to process and verify Open Wheelers Pro subscriptions bought through the App Store. RevenueCat receives your app account identifier and your purchase and subscription status. It does not receive your name, email address, phone number, or league content. See RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy for details.
Data Sharing
We do not:
- Sell your data
- Share personal data with third parties (beyond what’s needed to operate the service)
- Display advertising
We do share feature usage data with Mixpanel for the sole purpose of improving the app. This data tracks which features are used, not what you do within them.
Your league data (picks, scores, display name, and phone number if you’ve added one) is visible to other members of your league. This is a core feature of the app.
Your Rights
You can:
- Update your display name, avatar, and phone number at any time
- Delete your account in the app (Settings → your profile → Delete Account), or ask us to by email
When you delete your account, we delete your sign-in, email address, avatar image, and phone number. Your past picks and scores stay in your leagues’ standings under the display name you last used, so everyone else’s totals still add up, but they’re no longer connected to an account. If you’d rather your name not appear there, change your display name before you delete your account.
