Jump Simulator

Design a gap jump and simulate the flight path at different speeds. Set your takeoff angle, lip height, and gap distance, then watch an animated rider launch off the kicker and fly through the air. The vehicle rotates naturally along the trajectory — nosing up on takeoff, leveling at the peak, and diving into the landing. Switch between BMX, MTB, and Moto presets for vehicle-accurate proportions, weight, and speed ranges. Physics include air drag scaled by rider + vehicle mass.

  • Two locust posts set 14 ft off the log cage, header beam hung at 5 ft.
  • Three curved beams cut to a 21 ft radius from treated 2x10s, matching the model.
  • Three A-frame trusses from treated 2x12s, peak set just under the dialed flight path.
  • Landing built the previous fall from deadfall and fill dirt, transitions faired out.
  • Aimed for a 40° takeoff and built 38°.
